Job summary

The Outpatient Registered Nurse (RN) provides clinically competent care to dialysis patients, performs assessments, administers medications, educates patients, and collaborates with the healthcare team. No prior nephrology experience required as training is provided; requires RN licensure, BLS certification, and relevant experience.

Responsibilities

Responsible for providing and coordinating clinically competent care, including assessment and intervention for patients undergoing hemodialysis. This includes administering medications, documenting patient data, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to enhance patient outcomes.

Requires graduation from an accredited School of Nursing, current state licensure, and CPR BLS certification. This is an entry-level role for RNs with less than 2 years of nephrology experience, though dialysis experience is preferred.
