Job summary

The Registered Nurse (RN) provides patient assessment, care planning, and implementation in a hospital setting. Responsibilities include documenting patient information, communicating with healthcare team, managing pain, infection control, and adhering to safety standards.

Responsibilities

Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, including patient education, medication monitoring, pain management, and individualized support. Document care and changes in patient condition, coordinate handoffs and interprofessional communication, delegate care appropriately, and maintain infection control and a safe environment.

Qualifications

An associate degree in nursing (ASN/ADN) and a Pennsylvania RN license are required, along with AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. A BSN is preferred.
