Job summary

A Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) provides direct patient care, monitors patient safety, assists with activities, documents medical information, and applies crisis intervention in a behavioral health hospital setting.

Responsibilities

The Behavioral Health Technician is responsible for maintaining a safe therapeutic environment through patient monitoring, safety checks, and crisis intervention. They also assist with clinical tasks such as taking vital signs, documenting care, and facilitating psychoeducational groups.
