Job summary

Provide care to clients in a residential treatment environment, assisting nursing staff with vital signs, medication monitoring, and safety checks, in a compassionate mental health and substance use treatment setting.

Responsibilities

Assist nursing staff with client care in a residential treatment setting, including taking and documenting vital signs under registered nurse supervision. Monitor medication self-administration and client reactions, conduct safety checks and searches, report concerns, and perform related administrative and supply tasks.

Qualifications

Certified Nursing Assistant Communication Skills CPR Documentation Medication Administration Monitoring Patient Care Vital Signs Monitoring

Current Certified Nursing Assistant certification, current CPR, and at least six months of related nursing or medical assistant experience are required. Experience with adults or adolescents in a residential treatment center is a plus, along with the physical and communication abilities needed to provide care and complete the listed duties.
