Job summary

Join Babcock in a four-year electrical and electronic engineering apprenticeship, gaining practical experience while studying for a BEng degree. Work on projects supporting national security at Devonport, focusing on electrical and control systems for facilities, ships, and submarines. Develop technical knowledge and skills in a complex, regulated environment, with opportunities for career progression and professional registration.

Responsibilities

You will work towards a BEng in Electrical & Electronic Engineering while contributing to projects that support national security. You will gain practical experience across the full engineering lifecycle, including design, implementation, and in-service support for critical naval infrastructure and systems.

Qualifications

Control and Instrumentation Design and Implementation Electrical Control Systems Electrical Engineering Electronic Engineering Fault-finding Power Systems Project Support SCADA systems

Applicants must hold 3 A Levels at ABB or above (including Maths), a T Level Distinction, or a BTEC Extended Diploma at MMM in an engineering-related subject. Candidates must also be able to achieve and maintain BPSS, SC, and NNPI security clearances, and must be sole UK nationals.
