Job summary

The Receptionist in this role performs clerical support, greets visitors, manages phone calls, and maintains records to ensure smooth facility operations in a healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

Answer and direct incoming calls, greet and direct visitors, and receive, sort, and distribute mail. Maintain resident and staff reference information and manage the visitor check-in and check-out system, retaining daily records for six months.

Qualifications

Clerical Communication Computer literacy Confidentiality Multitasking

A high school diploma or equivalent is required, along with at least two years of clerical experience or completion of an accredited secretarial science program. Candidates should have strong communication and organizational skills, professional phone etiquette, basic computer and office equipment proficiency, and the ability to protect confidential information and interact compassionately with residents, families, visitors, and staff.
