Job summary

Aurora is seeking a Staff Application Security Engineer with a strong software engineering background to help develop and maintain application security for their driverless truck product and infrastructure. Responsibilities include collaborating with engineering teams on fixes, security design, automation, threat modeling, and leveraging AI to scale investigations.

Responsibilities

You will partner with engineering teams to implement secure design improvements and build automation to integrate preventative controls into the software development lifecycle. Additionally, you will investigate security findings and leverage AI to scale the application security program for driverless truck technology.

Qualifications

AI automation code investigation debugging programming security design software development lifecycle software engineering system design threat modeling

Candidates must have substantial experience in production software development, system design, and threat modeling. Proficiency in C, C++, Go, Python, and JavaScript is required, along with the ability to collaborate effectively across complex engineering organizations.
