Profluent, an AI-first protein design company, seeks an Associate Director - Director to lead in vivo pharmacology strategy, overseeing rodent and NHP studies for gene editing therapeutics. Responsibilities include study design, data analysis, vendor management, and cross-functional collaboration to advance therapeutics from discovery to clinical development.

Responsibilities

Lead the in vivo pharmacology strategy and execution for customized base editor therapeutics, overseeing studies in rodents and non-human primates. Manage external CROs and collaborate with cross-functional teams to guide candidate nomination and IND-enabling development plans.

Qualifications

Requires a PhD in pharmacology, molecular biology, or a related field with 6-8 years of industry experience in in vivo pharmacology. Must have demonstrated expertise in genetic medicines and the ability to lead preclinical studies through to IND-enabling stages.
