Job summary

Roblox is seeking a Principal Security Software Engineer to develop and build security software solutions that protect its corporate infrastructure. Key responsibilities include designing identity and access systems, leading security automation, embedding security controls in enterprise systems, and extending vendor platforms. The role requires deep expertise in identity protocols, security system design, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

Design and build production-grade security software, including identity and access governance and policy enforcement engines. Partner with cross-functional teams to embed security controls into enterprise systems and developer workflows.

Qualifications

FIDO2/WebAuthn Go Identity and Access Management (IAM) OAuth 2.0 Passkeys Policy-as-code (OPA/Rego, Cedar, Zanzibar/ReBAC) Python SAML 2.0 SCIM 2.0 SPIFFE/SPIRE

Requires 10+ years of professional experience combining software engineering and security. Must have deep expertise in authentication protocols, backend programming languages, and secure system design.
