Job summary

The Operations Engineer provides engineering support to Midstream Operations and Commercial teams, analyzing operational problems, developing solutions, managing projects, and supporting integrity and risk mitigation initiatives for pipeline and processing assets. Key responsibilities include hydraulic modeling, process simulations, troubleshooting, and project cost estimation, with a focus on improving operational efficiency and safety.

Responsibilities

Provide engineering support to Midstream Operations and Commercial teams by analyzing operational problems and identifying value-enhancing projects. Manage project design, cost estimates, and hydraulic simulations for pipelines and processing plants.

Qualifications

Engineering analysis Heat & mass balances Hydraulic simulation Integrity management Operational problem solving Pipeline and terminal optimization Process simulation (ProMax, Hysis) Project development Risk mitigation Troubleshooting operational issues

Requires a Bachelor of Science in Engineering with 0 to 2 years of oil and gas or process engineering experience. Proficiency in hydraulic modeling software like Promax or Hysis and familiarity with PSM/PHA processes is preferred.
