Job summary

MongoDB Technical Services Engineers use their problem solving and customer service skills, along with technical experience, to advise customers and solve complex MongoDB problems. They are experts in the MongoDB ecosystem, including database server, drivers, cloud, and infrastructure, supporting services like Atlas and Cloud Manager. The role involves working with large customers, resolving architecture, performance, recovery, security issues, mentoring new team members, and contributing to support tools development.

Responsibilities

You will solve complex technical issues for MongoDB customers regarding architecture, performance, recovery, and security. Additionally, you will contribute to internal projects, mentor new team members, and advocate for customer needs with product management teams.

Candidates must have systems and storage engineering experience, proficiency in at least one programming language, and a strong understanding of networking protocols. You must be a US citizen and able to work a weekend shift schedule.
