Job summary

Registered Nurse with experience in progressive care or step-down units providing comprehensive patient care, monitoring, assessments, medication management, patient education, and interdisciplinary collaboration for adult patients with intermediate acuity.

Responsibilities

The Registered Nurse delivers comprehensive, patient-centered care for adult patients with intermediate-acuity needs in a Progressive Care/Step-Down unit. Responsibilities include performing frequent assessments, monitoring cardiac and hemodynamic status, managing complex medical conditions, and coordinating with the interdisciplinary team.

Qualifications

cardiac rhythm interpretation clinical documentation dysrhythmia recognition emergency response interdisciplinary collaboration medical monitoring medication management patient assessment patient education ventilation support

Candidates must hold an active Registered Nurse license in Indiana or a compact state and have graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program. A minimum of two years of recent acute-care nursing experience, along with current BLS and ACLS certifications, is required.
