Job summary

Electrical Engineer responsible for power transmission infrastructure within WSP's energy projects, supporting design, review, and delivery of electrical systems for grid upgrades.

Responsibilities

The Electrical Engineer will act as a technical authority for power transmission infrastructure projects, delivering designs from feasibility through to detailed design. They will also manage multidisciplinary integration, ensure compliance with technical standards, and provide oversight during construction and commissioning.

Qualifications

AutoCAD Electrical Design Health & Safety High Voltage Equipment Medium Voltage Systems Power Systems Project Management Protection & Control Engineering

Candidates must hold a degree in Electrical Engineering and possess significant postgraduate experience in electrical design or operations. Professional chartership or working towards IEng/CEng status is required, along with knowledge of power sector standards and EirGrid/ESB Networks specifications.
