Job summary

Experienced Electronics Technician responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting electronic systems, including voice communication equipment and networking infrastructure at air traffic control sites, with a requirement for extensive travel.

Responsibilities

The Electronics Technician will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of electronic equipment and systems, including setting up racks and terminating LAN and other electronic wiring at Air Traffic Control Centers and related facilities. This involves troubleshooting, repairing, aligning, and calibrating audio equipment and voice communication systems to the component level using various test equipment.

Qualifications

Electronic Installation Electronics Repair Equipment Calibration Fiber Optics LAN Cable Termination Schematic Reading Signal Testing Test and Measurement Instruments Troubleshooting Work in Confined Spaces

Candidates must possess an Associate's degree plus 6+ years of experience, or 8+ years of experience in lieu of the degree, specifically involving testing, repairing, troubleshooting, and installation of complex electronics, Fiber Optics, or Radio Control Systems. Proven proficiency in terminating LAN cables and interpreting technical manuals is required, along with the ability to travel up to 100% within the USA.
