Job summary

The role involves enabling RoboForming for automotive sheet metal parts through CAD manipulation, robot tool path generation, and process analysis. Collaboration with cross-disciplinary teams to optimize manufacturing processes, develop hardware/software, and ensure quality is essential. The ideal candidate will have a background in mechanical engineering, proficiency in CAD, data analysis, and familiarity with robotic systems.

Responsibilities

You will be responsible for enabling the RoboForming process by generating robotic tool paths from CAD models and optimizing manufacturing strategies. Additionally, you will analyze forming data and 3D scan results to iterate on designs and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve production workflows.

Qualifications

Candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, or Aerospace Engineering with 0-2 years of relevant experience. Proficiency in CAD software, familiarity with robot programming or CAM, and strong data analysis skills are required.
