The Registered Nurse RN in the Medical ICU at Mount Carmel St. Ann’s provides specialized care for critically ill patients with conditions such as Sepsis, CHF, STEMI, Shock, Pneumonia, COVID, Multi-system Organ Failure, and ARDS. Responsibilities include assessing and developing patient care plans, communicating effectively with team and family, and ensuring documentation and safety standards are met, within an environment that emphasizes teamwork and professionalism.

Responsibilities

The Registered Nurse provides direct patient care in the Medical ICU, collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team to manage complex diagnoses. They are responsible for assessing patients, developing care plans, and ensuring accurate documentation in accordance with organizational standards.

Qualifications

Candidates must be graduates of an accredited school of nursing and hold a current Registered Nurse license in the State of Ohio. New graduates with less than one year of experience are required to participate in the Nurse Residency Program.
