Job summary

A part-time Registered Nurse (RN) role in the Behavioral Health Adult Inpatient Unit at Aurora Psychiatric Hospital, focusing on providing comprehensive, compassionate psychiatric care, utilizing evidence-based practices, and maintaining a safe environment for patients experiencing mental health or substance concerns.

Responsibilities

The Registered Nurse will provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care using the nursing process to ensure safe and therapeutic outcomes. They will lead efforts to create a safe patient environment while utilizing evidence-based practice and clinical decision-making.

Qualifications

Basic Life Support (BLS) Clinical decision making Communication skills De-escalation Nursing Patient care Patient safety protocols Restraint procedures

Candidates must have completed an accredited nursing program and hold a valid Registered Nurse license in the state of practice. A Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association is also required.
