Job summary

Provide patient-centered nursing care in an emergency department setting, utilizing evidence-based practices, conducting comprehensive assessments, educating patients and families, and collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure safe, efficient, and culturally competent care.

Responsibilities

The registered nurse provides patient- and family-centered care by developing individualized nursing plans and integrating evidence-based practice. They collaborate with inter-professional teams to ensure safe, compassionate, and coordinated care while actively participating in quality improvement committees.

Qualifications

BLS communication cultural competence discharge planning emergency response health information documentation medication administration nursing process patient care patient education

Candidates must hold a specialized diploma or degree from an accredited school of nursing and possess an active RN license. At least one year of acute care experience and a BSN degree are strongly preferred.
