Lead clinical standards for functional assessment, supervise assessors, conduct assessments, ensure quality and compliance, and develop professional skills in a healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

The Clinical Standards Lead provides supervision, coaching, and quality feedback to Functional Assessors to ensure high performance and adherence to DWP guidelines. They also conduct functional assessments for claimants to evaluate the impact of health conditions on daily life.

Qualifications

Candidates must have at least 12 months of experience as a DWP-approved Functional Assessor and hold current HCPC, NMC, or GMC registration. Strong clinical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to produce detailed, evidence-based reports are essential.
