Job summary

This role supports healthcare teams by assisting with clinical and non-clinical patient services, including taking vital signs, documenting patient information, scheduling, managing patient flow, and collaborating with medical staff. Responsibilities

Support healthcare providers with clinical and administrative patient services, including interviewing patients, measuring vital signs, documenting medical information, and scheduling appointments. Prepare examination rooms and equipment, maintain supplies and sterilize instruments, and help ensure efficient patient flow and a positive patient experience.

Qualifications

A high school diploma or equivalent is required; one to three years of direct medical assistant or medical-field experience is preferred. Strong communication, organization, accuracy, and knowledge of medical terminology and procedures are expected; BLS certification, Certified Medical Assistant credentials, and Massachusetts EMT-Basic certification are preferred.
