Job summary

A desk-based Quality Control Analyst I role focused on documentation, report compilation, and supporting GMP compliance in a cell and gene therapy company.

Responsibilities

Prepare, review, and maintain GMP-compliant QC documentation, including records, SOPs, change controls, deviations, and risk assessments. Compile reports and certificates of analysis, support departmental projects and junior staff development, communicate information to clients, and provide rotational out-of-hours cover for critical equipment alarms.

Attention to detail Biological sciences Chemical sciences Documentation management GMP documentation Microsoft Office Quality control Regulatory compliance Science research SOP writing

Applicants should have prior experience with scientific GMP documentation in a chemical or biological life sciences laboratory, strong written English, and knowledge of UK regulations for cell therapy products and tissue donation. A life sciences degree or equivalent qualification or relevant experience is sought, along with Microsoft Office proficiency, strong communication and stakeholder-management skills, organisation, prioritisation, and attention to detail.
