Job summary

As a Staff LiDAR Systems Engineer at Aurora, you will be responsible for designing, testing, and optimizing LiDAR systems for autonomous vehicles. You will lead requirements development, evaluate new technologies, perform data analysis and testing, and collaborate across multiple teams to ensure system performance and safety.

Responsibilities

You will be responsible for architecting, specifying, and optimizing LiDAR systems for the Aurora Driver platform. This includes leading requirements development, technology evaluation, and performing data analysis to ensure system performance and safety.

Qualifications

Candidates must have an MS in Optics, Electrical Engineering, or Physics with at least 7 years of industry experience in sensor systems. Strong organizational skills and experience working with complex, multi-domain systems are required.
