Job summary

The Process Safety Engineer leads and supports the site process safety agenda by strengthening Process Safety Management (PSM), risk management and regulatory compliance practices. The role works across manufacturing, engineering, maintenance, operations and SHE functions to protect people, the environment, business continuity and site assets from process safety and integrity-related risks. The position serves as the site subject matter expert and technical authority for process safety practices, tools and systems. Responsibilities include leadership in process safety compliance, hazard identification, risk assessment, technical support, continuous improvement, and organizational capability building, with a focus on regulatory standards and safety management systems.

Responsibilities

The Process Safety Engineer leads the site process safety agenda by facilitating risk assessments, ensuring regulatory compliance, and providing technical guidance. They also manage incident investigations and drive continuous improvement in safety performance across manufacturing and engineering functions.

Qualifications

Functional Safety HAZOP Incident Investigation LOPA Process Hazard Analysis Process Safety Management Regulatory Compliance Risk Assessment Risk Management Safety Instrumented Systems

Candidates must hold a bachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical field and possess at least five years of experience in Process Safety Management. Strong expertise in HAZOP, LOPA, PHA, and chemical industry safety standards is required.
