Job summary

This is a founding role for the identity and authorization team at Baseten, focusing on building the platform's authorization system, credential management, enterprise identity lifecycle, and admin controls, requiring deep expertise in security, backend system design, and scalable authorization models.

Responsibilities

You will lead the design and implementation of the identity and authorization layer for the Baseten platform, ensuring secure and scalable access control. You will partner with cross-functional teams to translate enterprise security requirements into durable technical solutions while establishing engineering best practices.

Qualifications

Authorization Systems Backend Development Cloud Infrastructure Go Kubernetes OAuth Python SCIM Protocol Security Standards

Candidates must have 4-5+ years of experience building production backend systems with a focus on fine-grained authorization models. Proficiency in Python, Go, and experience with multi-tenant systems at scale are required.
