Job summary

The Employment Adviser supports unemployed individuals through tailored guidance, CV writing, interview prep, and skills training. The role involves engaging with jobseekers, local employers, and community outreach, aiming to help participants find and sustain employment, especially those long-term unemployed. Must be proactive, empathetic, and able to work in a performance-driven environment with travel between locations.

Responsibilities

The Employment Adviser manages a caseload of jobseekers to provide personalized guidance, CV support, and interview preparation to help them enter the workforce. They also engage with local employers and community stakeholders to identify job opportunities and promote the Restart Scheme.

Qualifications

Building rapport Coaching Communication Customer Service Hospitality Influencing Mentoring Persuasion Sales Social Care

Candidates must have experience in a customer-facing or target-driven environment and demonstrate strong coaching or influencing skills. Educational requirements include a minimum of 2 A-Levels or a Level 3 Diploma, along with a Grade B in GCSE English or equivalent.
