Job summary

The Senior Environmental Compliance Manager for Air Programs will lead compliance and permitting efforts, including developing permits, air dispersion modeling, conducting audits, and managing environmental programs. The role requires at least 10 years of experience in environmental compliance, with a focus on air quality regulations, project management skills, and the ability to lead and mentor staff.

Responsibilities

The manager will lead and mentor junior staff, partner with senior leaders to guide client programs, and drive project outcomes through client management, proposal development, and project implementation, focusing primarily on air permitting projects. Key tasks include independently developing and submitting environmental compliance reports and air permit applications, leading air permitting efforts (Title V, NSRs, PBRs), and developing/interpreting air dispersion models.

Candidates must possess a Bachelor of Science in engineering, environmental science, or a related field, along with 10 or more years of relevant Environmental Compliance experience, specifically focusing on air permitting. Strong consulting, critical thinking, project management skills, and a proven track record as a "Seller and Doer" with industrial clients are required.
