Job summary

The Senior Crude Trader will develop and manage trading portfolios focusing on US and international crude markets, executing arbitrage opportunities and managing risks within a large energy company's trading department.

Responsibilities

Develop and manage a crude oil trading portfolio and associated P&L within established risk limits for US domestic and international markets. Execute trading strategies, manage price risk through hedging, and oversee commercial terms for purchase and sale agreements.

Qualifications

Blending Characteristics Contractual Terms Crude Oil Market Fundamentals Derivative and Hedging Transactions Industry Relationships Logistics Physical Trading of Crude Oil Pricing Mechanisms Regulations and Operations Supply and Demand Dynamics

Requires expert knowledge of crude oil market fundamentals, logistics, and derivative transactions with a proven track record in physical trading and arbitrage. Must possess strong industry relationships and complete fluency in English.
