Responsibilities

The Registered Nurse provides patient- and family-centered care in the operating room by utilizing the nursing process to address physical, psychological, and social needs. They collaborate with inter-professional teams to deliver safe, evidence-based care while maintaining accurate health documentation and participating in quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

Assessment and Diagnosis BLS - Basic Life Support Communication Cultural Competence Discharge Planning Health Information Documentation Medication Administration Patient Care Patient Education RN License

Candidates must hold a specialized diploma or degree from an accredited school of nursing and possess an active Pennsylvania RN license. BLS certification is required, and at least one year of acute care experience is strongly preferred.
