Job summary

The Principal Software Engineer on the Compute team at Roblox will lead GPU and AI accelerator capabilities, overseeing GPU host lifecycle management, fleet reliability, and performance. The role involves setting technical direction, improving GPU infrastructure, and collaborating across teams to optimize GPU workloads in large-scale data centers and cloud environments.

Responsibilities

Serve as the technical leader for GPU and AI accelerator capabilities, focusing on machine management, health, and reliability at scale. Architect how GPU capacity is exposed to compute platforms and establish standards for safe and efficient GPU consumption.

Qualifications

CUDA Distributed systems Driver Firmware GPU hardware GPU management Kubernetes Networking Telemetry Troubleshooting

Requires 10+ years of experience in large-scale distributed systems with deep expertise in GPU host provisioning and driver/firmware lifecycles. Proficiency in Go and experience with CUDA and high-performance networking are essential.
