Job summary

The role of a Care Assistant involves supporting residents with personal care, observation, nutrition, and engaging them in social activities, ensuring high standards of person-centered care in a care home setting.

Responsibilities

Provide person-centred care and companionship to residents while supporting their nutrition, hydration, and physical and mental stimulation. Maintain accurate care plans and document changes in resident behaviour in accordance with legal requirements.

Qualifications

Caregiving Communication Skills Documentation Health and Social Care Qualification Motivation and Positivity Nutrition and Hydration Support Observation Skills Personal Care Social and Recreational Activities Teamwork

Candidates should possess strong interpersonal and communication skills with a positive and motivated attitude. Previous experience in a care home or a Health and Social Care qualification is desirable.
