The Assistant Engineer role in our Bridges and Civils team involves developing civil and structural designs for infrastructure projects, collaborating with international teams, managing design documentation, and engaging with stakeholders. Requires a degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, working toward professional qualification, and experience with key clients and design standards.

Responsibilities

You will develop high-quality civil and structural designs for new builds, renewals, and maintenance projects while collaborating with national and international teams. Additionally, you will manage design documentation, including 3D BIM deliverables and analysis models, to provide effective engineering solutions for clients.

Qualifications

Bridge Design Civil Engineering Client Communication Design Standards (Eurocodes, DMRB, MCHW) Project Management Structural Analysis Structural Engineering

Candidates must hold a degree in Civil or Structural Engineering and be working towards professional qualification (CEng/IEng). Practical experience in bridge design and proficiency with structural analysis software like LUSAS or MIDAS is required.
