Job summary

Atom Computing seeks a Platform Engineer to develop and operate infrastructure for quantum computing systems, including on-prem and cloud environments, with responsibilities in system design, automation, and reliability.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain infrastructure supporting quantum control systems, including GPU compute, networking, and storage. Implement infrastructure-as-code, deployment automation, and system observability while participating in on-call rotations and incident response.

Qualifications

Ansible AWS Containerization Docker Hybrid cloud Infrastructure-as-code Kubernetes Podman Pulumi Terraform

Requires a BS or advanced degree in Computer Science and internship or work experience in infrastructure, platform, or systems engineering. Candidates must have experience with infrastructure-as-code tooling, containerization, and hybrid environments.
