The role involves travel across the UK, independent workload management, and delivering excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

The Field Service Engineer is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining specialist vehicle chassis and mounted equipment at customer sites and workshops. They must ensure all work is logged accurately, vehicles are prepared for MOT inspections, and safety standards are strictly maintained.

Qualifications

Candidates must hold an NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Heavy Vehicle Service and Maintenance and possess strong diagnostic skills. Previous experience in a similar field service or HGV mechanic role is required, along with the ability to work independently and travel across the UK.
