Job summary

The Staff Systems Engineer - Safety will own and develop the safety case framework, perform safety analyses, lead safety architecture development, and coordinate safety reviews for autonomous vehicle systems, ensuring compliance with safety standards like ISO 26262 and delivering high-integrity safety-critical software.

Responsibilities

Own the safety case framework and perform functional safety analyses including HARA, FMEA, and FTA. Lead the software safety architecture development for safety monitors and drive traceability between system requirements and software specifications.

Qualifications

ASIL D Automotive Safety Standards DFA FMEA FTA Functional Safety Safety Management Safety Standards Software Analysis Systems Engineering

Requires a degree in Computer Engineering, CS, Electrical Engineering, or Robotics with 2 to 7+ years of experience depending on the degree level. Must have expertise in ISO 26262, ASIL D certified products, and safety-critical software development processes.
