Job summary

The job involves working as a registered nurse in the surgical step-down unit caring for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients requiring frequent nursing interventions in a hospital setting. The role requires a BSN or commitment to obtaining it, with at least one year of nursing experience, preferably two years in an acute care environment, and licensure or eligibility in Delaware. Responsibilities

Provide nursing care to adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients within a 35-bed surgical intermediate/step-down unit. Perform nursing interventions for patients requiring monitoring every two to four hours.

Qualifications

ACLS Certification Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Basic Life Support (BLS) BLS Certification Inpatient Care Intermediate/Step-Down Care Nursing Patient Care

Requires a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) and at least one year of nursing experience. Must hold or be eligible for a Delaware nursing license, possess BLS certification, and obtain ACLS certification within one year.
