Seeking a registered nurse with at least an associate degree in nursing, current Texas RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications, and minimum two years of operating room experience. Responsibilities include patient care, surgical assistance, medication administration, documentation, and ensuring safety and adherence to protocols.

Responsibilities

Provide and document perioperative nursing care, including patient assessment, preparation, positioning, medication administration, aseptic practice, surgical counts, and specimen handling. Coordinate with physicians, anesthesia personnel, patients, and the healthcare team while following facility policies and maintaining a safe operating room environment.

Qualifications

Acute Care Aseptic Techniques Emergency Care Medical Records Nursing Patient Care Surgical Assistance

Requires an associate degree in nursing, a current unencumbered Texas RN license, current BLS and ACLS certifications, and at least two years of operating room experience in an acute care facility. A bachelor’s degree in nursing, CNOR certification, specialty experience in neuro-spine, spine, or orthopedic joints, and scrub experience are preferred.
