Job summary

The Sr. Process Safety Engineer will provide technical advice to ensure process hazards are identified, risks assessed, and solutions implemented, with a focus on safety, compliance, and continuous improvement in chemical process plant safety management.

Responsibilities

The Sr. Process Safety Engineer provides technical guidance to identify process hazards and implement cost-effective risk mitigation solutions. They lead PHA and LOPA studies, manage the Management of Change (MOC) program, and ensure compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations.

Qualifications

Hazard Identification Incident Investigation Layers of Protection Analysis Process Hazard Analysis Process Safety Management Process Safety Standards (API, NFPA, ASME) Regulatory Compliance (OSHA, EPA) Risk Assessment Root Cause Analysis Safety Instrumented Functions (SIFs)

Requires a Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering or a related field with at least 5 years of experience in Process Safety Management. Candidates must be proficient in PHA software and have deep knowledge of regulatory standards such as OSHA, EPA, API, and NFPA.
