Job summary

As a Mechanical Engineer in our Facilities Management team, you will ensure the safe operation and maintenance of mechanical and gas systems, perform repairs, diagnose faults, install new equipment, and support compliance and safety regulations in a secure environment.

Responsibilities

You will perform routine mechanical maintenance, repairs, and testing of gas systems while ensuring all plant equipment is installed and maintained to high safety standards. Additionally, you will support the facilities management team by managing compliance records and overseeing contractors on-site.

Qualifications

DFX Diagnosing Faults Electrical Systems Gas Systems HVAC Installation Mechanical Engineering Planned Preventative Maintenance Safety Compliance Troubleshooting

Candidates must hold a recognized mechanical engineering apprenticeship or trade-based qualification such as NVQ or City & Guilds. Experience with commercial and domestic gas systems is highly desirable, along with the ability to pass an Enhanced DBS check.
