Job summary

The role of the International Tax Director at Anthropic involves leading US international tax planning projects, analyzing tax consequences of cross-border business initiatives, applying complex US international tax provisions, managing models and documentation for compliance and planning, and coordinating with legal, finance, and external advisors to ensure proper implementation and regulatory adherence.

Responsibilities

Partner with internal teams and external advisors to ensure tax compliance, accurate financial reporting, and effective integration of acquired entities.

Qualifications

BEAT foreign tax credit NCTI subchapter C subpart F tax modeling tax planning and structuring technical memoranda transfer pricing US international tax provisions

Requires 10-15 years of extensive US international tax experience with deep technical knowledge of relevant tax provisions and subchapter C rules. Candidates must possess strong project management skills, the ability to draft technical memoranda, and experience managing outside advisors.
