Job summary

Registered Nurse (RN-CNI) at UC Medical Center, providing specialized cardiac and medical surgical care in a fast-paced, interdisciplinary environment for adult patients with complex cardiac conditions, requiring excellent assessment, care planning, and patient/family education.

Responsibilities

The Registered Nurse will assess, plan, and implement culturally based, age-specific patient care within a 28-bed cardiovascular unit. They will also coordinate interdisciplinary care plans and serve as a mentor for new staff members.

Qualifications

Candidates must be graduates of an accredited school of professional nursing and hold a current Ohio Registered Nurse license. ACLS and BLS certifications are required, though they may be obtained after hire.
