Job summary

Senior Civil Engineer responsible for managing design projects, preparing reports, and liaising with stakeholders in infrastructure and development projects, leading technical teams, and ensuring compliance with standards.

Responsibilities

Manage and deliver civil engineering designs and project work, including feasibility studies, drainage strategies, flood risk assessments, drawings, specifications, and technical reports. Lead and supervise technicians and graduates, coordinate with clients and external stakeholders, and contribute to project resourcing, financial planning, and site visits.

Qualifications

AutoCAD Civil 3D BIM Civil Engineering Design Standards Drainage Design Good Communication Skills Project Management Road and Drainage Design Technical Report Writing

Candidates should have senior-level experience producing detailed civil engineering designs, reports, drawings, and tender documents, with knowledge of relevant UK infrastructure standards and software such as Micro Drainage and Civil 3D. They should be able to lead technical teams and client-facing project work, understand health and safety and quality responsibilities, and preferably hold or be working toward ICE or IStructE chartered status.
