Job summary

As a Staff Manufacturing Engineer at Boston Dynamics, you will develop and optimize manufacturing processes and assembly workflows for advanced robots, collaborate with product design teams for manufacturability, and lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.

Responsibilities

You will develop, optimize, and implement manufacturing processes and assembly workflows for robotics components from prototype through production. Additionally, you will collaborate with engineering teams to provide DFM/DFA input and lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.

Qualifications

Additive Manufacturing Assembly Workflows CAD Software Design for Manufacturing & Assembly (DFM/DFA) Lean Manufacturing Manufacturing Processes Process Optimization Rapid Prototyping Six Sigma Troubleshooting

Candidates must have a bachelor's degree in an engineering field and at least 5 years of relevant experience in manufacturing or process development. Proficiency in CAD software, GD&T, and hands-on experience with machining and fabrication techniques are required.
