The Midstream Financial Analyst will prepare and analyze financial reports, interpret large datasets, conduct variance analysis, support monthly close activities, maintain reconciliations, develop management reports, and collaborate across departments within the energy sector. Essential skills include financial analysis, accounting, data analysis, and experience with forecasting, budgeting, and data visualization tools.

Responsibilities

The Midstream Financial Analyst will prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports while supporting close activities and balance sheet reconciliations. They will also develop management reporting tools and collaborate with other departments to analyze financial data and identify market trends.

Qualifications

Accounting Budgeting Data analysis Data visualization (Tableau/Power BI) Financial analysis Forecasting Python SAP SQL Variance analysis

Candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance with 3-5 years of corporate accounting experience or 2-3 years in public accounting. Strong analytical skills and experience in midstream, energy, or commodity-based businesses are required.
