Kepak Group is seeking an Apprentice Fitter to join its maintenance team at a busy meat processing plant, focusing on the repair and maintenance of industrial equipment such as machines, conveyors, gearboxes, and hydraulics. The role involves assisting with preventative maintenance, real-time repairs, and monitoring machinery, with a focus on safety and continuous learning.

Responsibilities

Assist the maintenance team in repairing and maintaining industrial machinery, including conveyors, packaging equipment, and hydraulics, while supporting preventative maintenance and real-time repairs to ensure smooth production operations.

Qualifications

Candidates should have a keen interest in learning about machinery, hydraulics, welding, and electrical systems, with good communication skills, enthusiasm, and flexibility. Basic electrical knowledge is an advantage but not essential, with training provided.
