Job summary

The Inova Schar Cancer Institute is seeking a Registered Nurse for their new Woodbridge location to provide infusion therapy, especially chemotherapy, and deliver holistic patient care in a cancer treatment setting. The role requires at least 1 year of RN experience, a BSN or ADN (with a plan to complete BSN if ADN), BLS certification, and a Virginia RN license, with prior chemotherapy infusion experience preferred.

Responsibilities

The Registered Nurse provides safe, holistic clinical care and coordination for patients and families within the infusion center. This includes integrating clinical knowledge to meet patient needs and collaborating effectively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Qualifications

Chemotherapy Communication Skills Computer Skills Infusion Therapy Nursing Patient Care

Candidates must have at least one year of RN clinical experience, a BSN or ADN degree, and a valid Virginia RN license. BLS certification from the American Heart Association is required, and previous chemotherapy infusion experience is strongly preferred.
