Job summary

Lightning AI is seeking a Global Tax Lead to establish and oversee the company's corporate tax compliance, including income tax, indirect tax, property tax, and tax accounting. The role involves managing compliance, developing tax policies, supporting M&A activities, and partnering with internal teams and external advisors to ensure accuracy, risk mitigation, and compliance in a fast-growing AI infrastructure company.

Responsibilities

The Global Tax Lead will own and scale the corporate tax function, managing income tax compliance, tax accounting, and risk mitigation. This role involves building tax policies and processes while partnering with Finance, Legal, and external advisors to support business scalability.

Qualifications

ASC 740 Deferred tax Forecasting GAAP M&A tax Risk mitigation Tax accounting Tax compliance Tax policy Tax process improvement

Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance and 8+ years of progressive corporate tax experience, with a CPA or MST strongly preferred. Strong technical expertise in U.S. federal and state tax compliance, ASC 740, and M&A tax is required.
