Job summary

Support the development and maintenance of nuclear safety cases, technical substantiation, and safety documentation for highly regulated nuclear facilities within a defense environment.

Responsibilities

The Safety Case Engineer will author and maintain nuclear safety case documentation and design substantiation while managing technical assurance and design changes. They will also provide expert guidance to stakeholders and support the safe delivery of complex engineering programmes within a high-hazard environment.

Candidates must have experience in safety case documentation within highly regulated environments and possess at least an HNC in an engineering discipline. Incorporated Engineer (IEng) status is required, while Chartered Engineer (CEng) status and experience in the nuclear or defence sectors are highly desirable.
