Job summary

Leading engineering and operational team at a food manufacturing site, managing maintenance, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of machinery.

Responsibilities

Lead a skilled engineering team in maintaining and optimizing food processing and packaging assets through planned, predictive, and reactive maintenance. Drive continuous improvement projects and manage day-to-day HR activities for direct reports to ensure operational efficiency.

Budget management CMMS systems Contractor management Electrical Fault-finding Leadership Maintenance planning Mechanical Spare parts control Teamwork

Requires a recognised engineering apprenticeship (NVQ Level 3/4 or equivalent) and a strong electrical bias with hands-on experience in mechanical and electrical systems. Candidates must possess IOSH Managing Safely certification and have experience in maintenance planning and budget management.
