Job summary

The Principal Consultant in Air Quality will support projects related to environmental compliance, air quality monitoring, and sampling programs, providing expert guidance and leadership within SLR Consulting's environmental services. The role involves project management, regulatory interpretation, team mentoring, and client relationship development, primarily focusing on air quality regulations such as Title V, PSD, NSPS, NESHAP, GHG, and RMP. The candidate will contribute to the growth of the Air Quality Practice and ensure project delivery meets regulatory and industry standards.

Responsibilities

The Principal Consultant will manage air quality projects, provide regulatory guidance, and mentor staff to ensure high-performance delivery. They will also contribute to business growth by developing client relationships and shaping the project portfolio in the Houston market.

Qualifications

Candidates must have 15-20+ years of experience in environmental consulting and a bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, or Chemistry. Strong expertise in air quality regulations such as Title V, PSD, and NESHAP is required.
