A strong background in power system protection, relay coordination, electrical schematics, and communication protocols is essential.

Responsibilities

The Senior P&C Engineer is responsible for designing transmission protection systems up to 400 kV and reviewing designs produced by internal and external teams. They will also provide technical guidance to junior engineers and ensure project deliverables meet quality, time, and budget requirements.

Qualifications

Cabling and Wiring Diagrams Electrical Schematics IEC61850 Communication Protocols Power System Protection Protection & Control (P&C) Engineering Protection Coordination and Short Circuit Calculation Protection Design Relay Settings SCADA Systems Substation Layout

Candidates must have proven technical capability in power system protection design, preferably at transmission voltage levels. Experience with electrical schematic diagrams, relay coordination software, and relevant industry standards like IEC61850 is essential.
